Working on Rooftrim can be awkward and dangerous. Special access equipment and certified installers ensure that you get a first-class result and no liabilities.

The Bristol Fascia Company staff adhere to the safety regulations and only use custom designed access equipment. This ensures that your Rooftrim is installed correctly and safely as all liabilities are with The Bristol Fascia Company.

The Survey

One of our experienced surveyors will come and take accurate installation measurements and confirm your requirements. From this survey, we take photographs of your property’s elevations, detail right of way and asses the requirements for specialisedaccessequipment.

The surveyor will assess all materials that will be disturbed during the installation process. He must take samples of any suspect material and send it for a detailed analysis. If the results confirm that it is Asbestos Cement (AC), or Asbestos Insulations Board (AIB), external contractors will be arranged to remove it.

The first row of tiles is carefully removed to reveal the old sarking. The old guttering, fascia’s and soft are safely removed and the sarking trimmed back. Now the end of the rafters are ready to be inspected.

We check the condition of the rafter ends and strengthen them by cutting and fitting new noggins. The new noggins are cut from pressure treated timber. All work at this stage will be accurately checked to ensure correct sight lines.

Mounting new fascia
The repair rafter ends can accept the new fascia boards and these are held to the rafters with marine grade stainless steel pins which ensure a long-lasting hold.

New Guttering
We then mount the new guttering of your choice to the fascia using stainless steel fixings. The run of guttering is checked before fixing and downpipes are installed as required.

Eaves Shield and Bird Comb
The Eaves Shield is mounted under the first row of tiles which rest on the integral Bird Comb, preventing access by nest building birds and vermin.

Retiling the Roof
The roof tiles are replaced in position ensuring the Bird Guard is working correctly to prevent access by birds and vermin.

When the installation is complete we thoroughly check the installation including all the fixings and give your new fascia a wipe down. Finally, we carefully remove all the access equipment and take up the protective tarpaulins to leave your property and garden just as we found fit except for your new Rooftrim.

Give your property that all important ‘kerbside appeal’ and add a bit of individuality to your roofline & cladding by choosing colour and woodgrain finishes.

Ten roofline colours available
We offer one of the widest choice of colours ranging from subtle gold and soft grey to striking blue and traditional green.

Roofline to match or contrast with your windows
Woodgrain effect finishes are now fairly common for window frames. Use our woodgrain fascia, soffit and cladding to match your existing windows and doors to create a co-ordinated look or create a new feature with a contrasting shade.

Our guarantees are further guaranteed by HomePro Insurance, so we can confidently offer, and standby, the guarantees we quote for your protection. Additionally, our guarantees are transferable for your peace of mind.
